If your loved one becomes mentally ill, don't give up hope. Devote your best energy to living as normal and healthy a life as possible, not forgetting the other well members of your family. Don't let the illness of one take over your whole life. Work toward changing the system... the stigma, the poor financial support of our government. Join support groups, workshops. Keep after our politicians; know which ones are working for the cause.
